's it, I left my colleagues work for a while. Maternity leave in Germany is six weeks before and 8 weeks (for a single baby). So two weeks after birth less than in France.
During maternity leave, if it is provided in the public interest, safety pays an allowance of 13 € / day and the rest is paid by the employer. For the safety
pay the 13 € / day, they should ask. It is not automatic, it would be too easy ... It's not like they had took over 7 months to realize that I am pregnant and that inevitably, one day it will ensure that silly one day. We must therefore ask the gynecologist special paper no sooner than 7 weeks before the due date (ie 1 week before the start of maternity leave). On this paper should indicate the employer (it's really clever because it is from this same employer contributions they receive every month ...).
In summary, the time between treatment and the Christmas holidays, I expect the sub ... :)
EDIT: I received a transfer of the entire sum for before and after childbirth sent the birth of the little I have received a transfer for the days between the due date and birth (because the delay) and for the time after childbirth.
