Run Car Without Thermostat

green tomato jam



Personally it's not my favorite jam ... a little too "candied fruit" for my taste ... adoooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrres but our guests!
Recipe:
- 1 kg of green tomatoes (you can order them at the market ... it's the end of the season!)
- 800 gr. sugar

Cut the tomatoes into small dice ... marinate overnight.
The next day, cook the sugar mixture, tomatoes for about 2h30 to "small temperature.
About 30 minutes before the end of cooking add some "flowers" of star anise.

Tip: Place a small plate in freezer ... when you consider that the preparation is ready ... remove the plate from freezer and let fall a drop of jam on the cold plate. If the drop freezes it's all good! You can put it in jars ...

My last batch was a little too "done" ... She has toned dark brown ... is not very attractive but it seems that it is also very good! A
